About my pet sitters
Conan Burfield, born and raised on the beautiful Oregon coast, has recently made his way to yet another city of bridges, our lovely and historic Pittsburgh. Growing up in the coastal hills of Coos Bay, Oregon, raising chickens, goats and rabbits and caring for his beloved Golden Retriever, Nickle, his Airdale, Rufus, and his Tabby and Siamese, Beauregard and Gracie. He relocated to the “Burgh” with his fiance and their two fuzzy lover kitties, a regal Blue Russian, Roo and a Tuxedo, the very handsome and loving Papi at the end of 2011. In his free time, Conan is a skilled drummer and music aficionado, enjoys being in the great outdoors and sharing a pint with friends. He looks forward to meeting and helping to care for your fuzzy family members. Conan is currently doing daily dog walks and visits in Regent Square and Squirrel Hill.
Lauren McCracken lives in Shadyside with her husband and three kitties. She attended CCAC and studied graphic design there. She loves animals and children and has extensive experience with dogs, cats, birds and other small pets. Lauren works occasionally as a safety ranger at Seven Springs Ski Resort, handling emergencies and injured skiers and as a waitress at Pamela’s Restaurant in Shadyside. She does daily dog walks and cat visits in Shadyside and Squirrel Hill and has proven herself an expert and creative pet sitter in all areas, including complicated visits with various sizes and breeds, not all well behaved.
Jody Tock, a research scientist at the University of Pittsburgh, grew up in rural Franklin, PA and spent her childhood learning about dogs, cats and other small and large animals from her mom and grandfather. She now lives in the Highland Park area and does walks and visits in Shadyside, Regent Square, and Squirrel Hill. Jody is a natural around animals and manages stressful and difficult situations with grace and intelligence. Because of her job, Jody is generally available for morning, evening and weekend visits and walks in the entire service area.
Our newest pet sitter, Mallory Cavanaugh, lives in Squirrel Hill, and is a licensed vet tech. She is able to provide insulin injections, subcutaneous fluids, nail trimming, ear cleaning and various other medical procedures, in addition to pet sitting and dog walking. Mallory is already on the job doing daily dog walks and cat visits in Squirrel Hill and Greenfield. We are grateful to have her on board!
